We will be adding these high-quality, digitally scanned books to the Digital Archives in 2 phases throughout 2023 and 2024 as listed below. Since we have several hundred record books dating back nearly 200 years, this project will have a long lifespan, but we are working all the time to make more and more of these historical assets publicly available. In the meantime, some of these records are also available for viewing through the Portal to Texas History, along with many other fascinating documents that are beyond the scope of the Office of the County Clerk. These historic ledger books have been digitized thanks to a partnership with the Travis County Archives, whose team has scanned over 1,350 County Clerk ledger books since 2015.
